Ceva suffered a cyber attack at the end of July 2026
12 Agosto 2026 - A cyber intrusion discovered on 29 July 2026 affected eight Ceva Logistics platforms in Europe, leading to the theft of personal data belonging to customers of companies served by the group. The investigation involves the Dutch data protection authority, with no attribution of the attack so far.

5 Agosto 2026 - The flow of the Danube has fallen to its lowest level since 1996 across Romania, Hungary and Serbia, halting commercial navigation and forcing the Cernavodă, Paks and Djerdap power plants to cut electricity production, with losses already quantified for Verbund and Edf.

P3 acquires logistics site in Rivolta d’Adda
4 Agosto 2026 - P3, through the Fondo Giano managed by Savills Investment Management Sgr, has acquired 100,000 square metres in Rivolta d’Adda, in the province of Cremona, for a 61,000-square-metre logistics hub, with work due to start in the fourth quarter of 2026.

Drought brings northern Europe’s inland waterways to a halt
4 Agosto 2026 - The Kaub gauge on the Rhine has matched the historic low recorded in October 2018, while Rijkswaterstaat has closed the Eefde locks on the Twentekanaal. Barges are sailing with loads reduced to one fifth of capacity, river freight rates have more than tripled and freight flows are shifting to road and rail.

Italian logistics real estate grows strongly in mid-July 2026
30 Luglio 2026 - The Italian logistics and industrial real estate market closed the first half with €1.25bn invested, up 50% year on year, while letting take-up rose to 1.6m square metres, up 72%, driven by third-party logistics operators, according to Jll Italia.

New postal customs rules in the United States from July 2026
29 Luglio 2026 - From 24 July, CBP suspended the customs exemption for low-value postal parcels bound for the United States, imposing ordinary duties, new shipment data requirements and mandatory customs brokerage. A second phase will introduce the electronic transmission of declarations by the autumn.

27 Luglio 2026 - The Shareholders’ Meeting of Interporto Bologna has approved the 2025 financial statements and a capital increase of more than €8 million, also subscribed by the new shareholder Medlog Holding Italia, an Msc company. Meanwhile, the expansion of the rail terminal is continuing and is expected to be completed by the end of 2026.

1,800 irregular workers in Pomezia logistics
20 Luglio 2026 - An investigation by the Guardia di Finanza of Pomezia, acting on behalf of the Procura di Velletri (Velletri Public Prosecutor’s Office), has uncovered an illegal labour supply system in logistics: more than 1,800 irregular workers between 2020 and 2022, false invoices worth €35 million, and 23 people and 11 companies reported to prosecutors.

La Sezione Polizia Stradale di Caltanissetta ha sequestrato due autocarri intestati a una ditta autotrasporto che erano privi di copertura assicurativa e con targhe riferite ad altri veicoli. Il secondo camion era stato inviato dall'impresa per trasbordare il carico del primo. Sanzioni per circa 8mila euro.

Con l'orario invernale in vigore dal 25 ottobre 2026 Lufthansa Cargo opera 88 rotte con aerei cargo verso 40 destinazioni, aggiunge Singapore e ripristina Almaty. A Mumbai i voli tutto merci passano al nuovo aeroporto di Navi Mumbai, mentre crescono le frequenze verso Dallas, Houston e New York.

Fhp Intermodal, concessionaria, e il Consorzio Asi Foggia, soggetto attuatore, stanno sviluppando in due lotti la nuova piattaforma integrata d’Incoronata. Un investimento di circa 50 milioni di euro, magazzini per 12mila metri quadrati, binari da 750 metri e fine lavori prevista a dicembre 2027.

Si è spento l’8 ottobre 2026 a 76 anni Vittorino De Bortoli, che nel 1980 avviò con il fratello Valter la casa di spedizioni di Montebelluna DB Group. Nel distretto dello scarpone hanno creato a una rete di circa 80 uffici.
