VGP opens a 22,000 square metre logistics hub in Italy
12 Febbraio 2026 - VGP Park Legnano is a 22,000 square metre logistics hub completed in Lombardy by VGP Italy, close to the A8 motorway junction. More than 22,000 square metres have been leased to Melchioni Car System and GymBeam in a property certified BREEAM Outstanding.

Privacy authority inspections at two Italian Amazon logistics hubs
10 Febbraio 2026 - The Italian data protection authority has launched checks at Amazon’s logistics centres in Passo Corese and Castel San Giovanni, focusing on video surveillance systems and the processing of workers’ data. The activity also involves the Ispettorato Nazionale del Lavoro (National Labour Inspectorate) and the Guardia di Finanza.

€7.8bn public takeover bid for InPost
10 Febbraio 2026 - A consortium led by Advent International, FedEx, A&R Investments and Ppf Group has agreed to launch an all-cash public takeover bid for all InPost shares at €15.60 per share, valuing the company at around €7.8bn.

6 Febbraio 2026 - Prologis has launched the construction of a logistics platform in the Milan metropolitan area, on a brownfield site in Melzo. Developed for Interglobo, the project combines urban regeneration, a bespoke design and operational efficiency, with delivery scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026.

Morto il re della logistica Klaus-Michael Kühne
Il 24 agosto 2026 è morto a 89 anni Klaus-Michael Kühne, uno degli uomini più potenti della logistica europea. Senza figli, aveva destinato l'intero patrimonio imprenditoriale alla Kühne Foundation, che attraverso Kühne Holding controlla il 60,1% di Kühne+Nagel, il 30% di Hapag-Lloyd e oltre il 20% di Lufthansa.
