Italian administrative court reduces Amazon logistics fine
3 Settembre 2025 - The Lazio Regional Administrative Court has reduced from one billion to 750 million euros the fine imposed in 2025 by the Italian antitrust authority on Amazon for unlawful practices in managing its Fulfillment by Amazon logistics service.

US tariffs remain in limbo for another month
3 Settembre 2025 - The Washington Court of Appeals has ruled that most of the tariffs imposed by Trump are illegal, yet keeping them in force until 14th October to allow for an appeal to the Supreme Court. Meanwhile, the abolition of the de minimis rule for packages up to 800 dollars has come into effect, favouring large freight forwarders and logistics operators.

Metro opens third Italian FDO logistics hub in Pontedera
1 Settembre 2025 - The cash and carry giant for professional customers Metro has strengthened its Food Service Distribution channel with a new dedicated logistics hub, the third in Italy. Located in Pontedera, it covers an area of 9,000 square metres.

Violent Fire At Hamburg Logistics Hub
26 Agosto 2025 - On 25 August 2025 a violent fire with multiple explosions broke out in a logistics area of Hamburg linked to the port. The flames started from a lorry before spreading to a warehouse filled with nitrous oxide cylinders. The A1 motorway was also closed.

25 Agosto 2025 - The abolition of the duty exemption for shipments worth less than 800 dollars bound for the United States is forcing European postal services to halt these deliveries, as they are unable to adapt in time.

The European defeat on US tariffs has been formalised
21 Agosto 2025 - On 21 August 2025 the European Union and the United States issued a joint declaration that formalises the US tariffs on European goods at 15 per cent. In exchange, Europe has agreed to large scale purchases of American energy, weaponry and semiconductors, while Washington secured concessions for its seafood and agricultural products.

Casello A14 di Riccione chiuso per autocisterna in fiamme
Un'autocisterna carica di carburante si è ribaltata e ha preso fuoco nei pressi del casello A14 di Riccione nel primo pomeriggio del 18 giugno 2026, causando due feriti ma nessuna vittima accertata. Vigili del Fuoco da Rimini, Forlì e Pesaro sono intervenuti per spegnere l'incendio e gestire il traffico bloccato in entrambe le direzioni.
