Maurelli Group has become the official distributor in Italy for spare parts from Lamberet, the French manufacturer specialising in refrigerated vehicles and temperature-controlled transport solutions. The agreement covers all categories of components for the full Lamberet range and gives the Italian group a more direct role in the cold chain sector, a key area for food, pharmaceuticals and specialised logistics. The partnership allows Italian operators to access Lamberet spare parts through Maurelli’s national network, which comprises more than 45 sales outlets and five logistics hubs. Component availability across all branches is one of the operational elements of the agreement, with the aim of reducing procurement times and simplifying maintenance work on refrigerated vehicles.
The agreement gives Maurelli Group a distribution role across all spare parts categories dedicated to the Lamberet range. Coverage includes light commercial vehicles, industrial vehicles and refrigerated semi-trailers. For Maurelli, the partnership extends the scope of its offering beyond the traditional spare parts segment for industrial vehicles and trailers, adding components for a market in which operational continuity, parts availability and rapid intervention directly affect service reliability. In food and pharmaceutical flows, maintenance of refrigerated vehicles is not only about vehicle efficiency, but also about preserving temperature conditions during journeys and during loading, unloading and stopping operations. In this context, a nationwide spare parts distribution network can influence maintenance planning and reduce vehicle downtime, especially for fleets operating on national routes or across several regions.
For Lamberet, the partnership strengthens its presence in the Italian market through a partner with an established network in industrial vehicle spare parts. Maurelli Group has more than 70 years of experience in the sector and provides services including the distribution of original and independent spare parts, multi-brand workshops, after-sales assistance, professional training and fleet management. This operational base enables the French manufacturer to bring its spare parts service closer to end users and workshops working on refrigerated vehicles. Thomas Kintrup, after-sales manager at Lamberet, explains that the partnership with Maurelli Group is intended to ensure high spare parts availability and deliveries within 24 hours across Italy. Patrik Li Destri, CEO of Maurelli, linked the partnership to the expansion of the company’s offering for the cold chain, adding that the value of the agreement comes from the integration of the French manufacturer’s technical expertise with Maurelli Group’s distribution capacity.
