Ewiva, the Enel group’s ultra-fast charging station operator, opened its second Italian station dedicated to ultra-fast charging for electric industrial vehicles in July 2026 in Noceto, in the province of Parma, following the first facility recently activated in Piacenza. The site is located in via dei Bersaglieri, in the Pontetaro area, and was developed under an agreement between Ewiva and the Comune di Noceto (Municipality of Noceto), which granted surface rights over the municipal area in exchange for a fee. The space, previously used as a lightly frequented car park, now hosts the charging infrastructure, while twenty car parking spaces have been retained on the site.
The station has eight charging points in total: four 400 kW points dedicated to electric industrial vehicles and four 300 kW points designed for light electric vehicles. The layout allows vehicles to drive through without needing to reverse, with large bays measuring up to 20 by 4 metres and geometries designed to make manoeuvring easier for articulated vehicles. The site is completed by clear signage and sufficient space for safe entry, exit and parking.
Its location, very close to the Parma Ovest motorway toll gate on the A15, strengthens the value of the facility along one of the national routes most heavily used by industrial vehicles. Emilia-Romagna is therefore further consolidating its role as a reference area for high-power charging infrastructure dedicated to freight transport, as a hub between the north and south of the country and a crossroads for industrial and commercial flows. The mayor of Noceto, Fabio Fecci, described the project as a way to turn "an objectively little-used parking area into a technology hub of national importance", while at the same time guaranteeing revenue for the Comune through the agreed fee. With the activation of Noceto, Ewiva now has 53 ultra-fast charging stations operating in Emilia-Romagna, including two dedicated to electric industrial vehicles, for a total of 206 charging points in the region.
