Damietta launches new container terminal
13 Febbraio 2026 - Operations at the Damietta Alliance Container Terminal will begin on 14 February 2026 with the first call of Hapag-Lloyd’s Essen Express. The Egyptian facility has capacity of up to 3.3 million TEU and is designed as a hub focused on transhipment and intermodal operations.
