Ceva Logistics has announced the strengthening of its mobility and fleet management offering in Europe through the launch of a dedicated network of Proximity Centers. The first facility is now operational in Gennevilliers, in the Paris metropolitan area, marking the start of a development plan that will extend to several European countries over the course of 2026. The initiative is part of the ongoing adaptation of automotive logistics to new mobility models, driven by the growth of shared fleets, subscription-based formulas and usage models linked to vehicle time in service.
According to Ceva, the evolution of the automotive market is profoundly reshaping the logistics requirements of manufacturers, rental operators, used-vehicle resale platforms and corporate fleet managers. In response, the company has structured its Mobility and Fleet Management offer as an integrated service covering corporate fleets, demonstrator vehicles, used-car parks and rental fleets. The aim is to manage the entire vehicle life cycle, ensuring operational continuity and high quality standards.
The Group draws on its established expertise in automotive logistics and an existing European network in finished vehicle logistics. Building on this foundation, the offer includes a broad range of services, from vehicle collection and inspections to reconditioning and maintenance, from temporary storage to pre-delivery preparation, through to direct delivery to the end customer. Integration with a digital platform allows vehicles to be managed and tracked throughout their life cycle, with the objective of protecting and enhancing residual value.
The new Proximity Center in Gennevilliers brings together a range of activities in a single, easily accessible location. The facility provides vehicle reception, temporary storage, repair and maintenance services, as well as concierge-type services and vehicle preparation prior to delivery. The structure is designed to enhance the customer experience, focusing on faster processes and a high degree of personalisation.
From a logistics perspective, the Proximity Center model helps reduce vehicle handling and transfer times, optimising last-mile costs and speeding up remarketing and preparation operations. This approach is particularly relevant for vehicles destined for corporate leasing, the used-car market or temporary uses such as press presentations and promotional events for new models. End customers can choose from several delivery options, including in-person collection at the centre, scheduled delivery via car transporter or dedicated driver, or a customised delivery solution.
Ceva already operates around ten local service centres through regional partners. The launch of the Proximity Centers therefore represents an evolution of this model, with a stronger direct presence on the ground. In addition to Gennevilliers, new openings are planned in France in Lyon, Le Mans and Rennes, as well as in Milan in Italy and Cologne in Germany, all scheduled for the first half of 2026.
