On 24 September 2025, C2A announced a new feature allowing its multi-service, multi-energy cards to be linked not just to a driver, but also to a vehicle, with immediate and flexible reallocation. Available for both Truck and Flex cards, the innovation lets customers configure card use directly via the dedicated online portal, enabling them to activate, deactivate or reassign cards according to operational needs. The new function addresses a real challenge for companies, often faced with variable shifts, driver replacements and high staff turnover. Dynamic allocation cuts management times from weeks to just minutes and simplifies administrative processes, ensuring greater consistency in expense reporting and smoother fleet organisation, for both light and heavy vehicles.
C2A cards retain their multi-service identity, covering fuel, AdBlue, tolls, ferries, hotels and secure parking, while also supporting multiple energy sources including HVO, diesel, gas, electricity and biofuels. Operating on the Mastercard network and accepted at over 5,300 stations across Europe, the cards guarantee broad and integrated coverage. “The customer must be free to choose how to use the card, for the trips and services required, and whether to associate it with a driver or a vehicle. Not the other way round,” commented Gilles D’Huiteau, founder and chairman of C2A.
Fleet telematics is seeing significant growth across Europe, with an annual compound growth rate of 11.3% according to Global Market Insights. The same study projects that by 2030, 40% of light commercial vehicles will be managed via digital platforms, while the heavy vehicle market, valued at $39.7 billion in 2024, is expected to continue expanding. Companies are gradually moving away from paper-based expense claims and fragmented tools towards centralised solutions: Roland Berger forecasts a 38% increase in digitalised fleets by 2027.
