During July and August, when tourist traffic on Italian roads and motorways intensifies, the calendar of circulation bans for industrial vehicles exceeding 7.5 tonnes includes a higher number of restricted days. In 2025, there will be a total of twenty-two such days, including Sundays. The increase is primarily due to the inclusion of all Saturdays in both months among the restricted days, although the ban does not always cover the entire day. In July, bans on Saturdays 5, 12, 19 and 26 will begin at 8:00 AM and end at 4:00 PM. In August, the same time slot will apply to Saturdays 16, 23 and 30, while on Saturdays 2 and 9 the restriction will be extended from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
The calendar also includes four Friday bans, one in July (on the 25th, from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM) and three in August: the 1st, 8th and 15th. On the 1st and 8th, the ban will be in force from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, while on 15 August it will last from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM. No additional weekday bans are scheduled, and it should be noted that the regular Sunday ban from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM remains in effect throughout both months. This Sunday ban will also continue into September.
