Iveco too has developed a version of the electric lorry capable of reaching 600 kilometres of range: it is called the S-eWay Artic and was presented on 12th June 2025. The increased mileage that the new tractor unit can cover stems from a lithium-iron-phosphate battery pack, which offers an energy capacity of 603 kWh, of which 97 per cent is usable. On this model, Iveco provides a warranty of up to ten years or 1.2 million kilometres. Deliveries of the new electric lorry are expected to begin from 2026.
The electric motor integrated into the rear axle, developed by Fpt Industrial, delivers continuous power of 480 kW, with an intelligent energy management system. The vehicle architecture includes full air suspension and an electric power take-off (ePto), suitable for temperature-controlled transport. The S-eWay Artic adopts the new extended AeroCab cabin, designed to improve aerodynamics. The tractor's wheelbase is 3,932 mm, with a nine-tonne front axle, a configuration that allows for the accommodation of larger battery packs without compromising the vehicle's agility.
The new Smart Routing function, integrated into the 10-inch infotainment system, enables route planning based on remaining range and the availability of charging infrastructure. For drivers, the Easy App offers an interface accessible remotely as well, to simplify daily interaction with the vehicle. Iveco supplies the vehicles with specific packages for electric charging, the eCharge Packs, which simplify integration with existing infrastructure.
