Number 1 Logistics Group is marking a year of strong expansion with the addition of ten road tractors to its fleet. All are Mercedes Actros L ProCabin Giga Space models, delivered on 15 December 2025. “This addition,” said Davide Villano, the company’s chief executive officer, “represents an important step in the ongoing evolution of our services. For Number 1, investing in technologically advanced vehicles means ensuring greater safety and comfort for our drivers, operational efficiency for our customers and a reduced environmental impact. This further expansion of the fleet allows us to consolidate our market positioning and to continue offering high standards in a constantly evolving market.”
The Emilia-based logistics group’s 2025 was characterised by the integration of FM Logistic’s Italian business unit and the acquisition of major new customers. In April, Number 1 took over around 200 Italian employees from FM Logistics along with several logistics platforms, notably those in Capriata d’Orba, in the province of Alessandria, and Vellezzo, in the province of Pavia. The company stated that the acquisition enabled it to exceed a 25% market share in contract logistics for the fast-moving consumer goods sector, bringing with it revenues of around €60 million. On the customer front, a key development was the contract with Sperlari, announced in the second half of the year, under which the confectionery producer entrusted Number 1 with the management of its logistics supply chain.
