Rome has taken another step towards more sustainable urban logistics with the launch of Click & Log’s cargo bike delivery service. The initiative was introduced in the Italian capital on 3 February 2026 by the start-up created through a collaboration between FS Logistix and Laziale Distribuzione, together with the Parrot team, which specialises in sustainable micromobility. The service is designed to meet distribution needs in areas with high urban density, with a particular focus on the historic centre.
The service operates from the logistics hub at Scalo San Lorenzo and targets commercial activities, HoReCa, fashion, e-commerce and B2C distribution. Cargo bikes enable fast, zero-emission deliveries, including same-day services, thanks to their ability to operate within limited traffic zones and in the Tridente area. The vehicles are primarily intended to cover the first and last mile, reducing the presence of motor vehicles on central streets and contributing to a different redistribution of urban space.
Click & Log’s offering also includes a broader logistics infrastructure, consisting of a warehouse with more than 6,000 square metres of covered space and 25,000 square metres of yards. The site is connected to railway stations, airports, the port of Civitavecchia and the Santa Palomba logistics hub, strengthening integration between urban logistics and national and intermodal transport networks.
