The Italian e-commerce services company Ops eCom is going through a phase of transformation, marked by growth in logistics and direct involvement in road haulage. In the first half of December 2025 alone it announced the signing of two agreements to acquire two road transport companies. The first, dated 4 December, concerns the acquisition of the entire share capital of Scl, active in express transport and logistics, where it generates consolidated revenues of €16 million. Ops eCom specified that the transaction value is €330,000, to be paid in twelve monthly instalments. In addition, it will make available to Kct financial support of up to a maximum of €250,000 to support operational activities.
Ops eCom explained that “the transaction provides for the launch of a structured process of managerial, administrative and operational integration of Scl within the Ops group, including the alignment of administrative and accounting processes, the review of operating procedures, the adoption of the group’s organisational frameworks and the rationalisation of corporate functions, with the aim of ensuring industrial consistency, operational efficiency and continuity of services”. It also proposed that Scl change its name to Ops Logistics and Transport.
Ops eCom announced the second transaction on 7 December, concerning a letter of intent to acquire the Piedmont-based road haulier Kct, headquartered in Galliate, in the province of Novara. The price for the entire share capital is €65,000. The acquired company provides road freight transport services with thirteen vehicles, eight heavy and five light, and two semi-trailers, including refrigerated units, operating in a strategic area for north-western logistics flows thanks to its proximity to major motorway corridors and intermodal interchange platforms. In both cases the buyer has not specified the definitive completion date of the transactions, which will be communicated to the market once the required formalities have been completed and provided that the outcome of the ongoing checks is positive.
With these acquisitions, the Milan-based group thus confirms its interest in express transport services and activities complementary to digital distribution, with the aim of structuring the new Ops Logistic and Transport hub. The company describes this development as instrumental in ensuring greater operational efficiency along the order management chain, integrating road handling activities with the technological platforms used for the sale and distribution of products.
