At the beginning of November 2025, Dkv Mobility introduced a new transport management software named Dkv Tms (Transport Management Software). Designed to allow companies to centrally coordinate orders, resources and routes, it includes real-time tracking functions and automated handling of documentation and invoicing. The tool is fully integrated into the Dkv Cockpit and the Dkv Mobility app, the company’s digital customer portal, requiring no extra installations or IT infrastructure.
The new system is available as an optional upgrade and can also be used independently of the Dkv Card. According to Markus Prässl, managing director of Dkv Mobility in charge of sales and customer success, Dkv Tms represents “a step forward in the digital transformation of our services”, aiming to make transport operations “more efficient and future-oriented”.
Key functions of the software include route planning, resource and document management, and automated cost control. Real-time monitoring allows operators to maintain an updated view of shipments and act promptly in case of delays or operational changes. Communication with drivers takes place directly through the Dkv Mobility app, integrating status updates and feedback within the operational workflow.
Presenting the new product, Sven Bartel, director of digital portal & solutions at Dkv Mobility, explained that many transport management platforms are too complex and expensive for small and medium-sized businesses: “We opted for a simplified approach: Dkv Tms is integrated into the customer portal and focuses on essential functions useful for day-to-day management.” This software is the third digital product launched by Dkv in 2025, following the Dkv Carbon Monitor, dedicated to emissions tracking, and the Dkv Fleet Management Software.
