The construction company Tecta has announced the completion of Dhl Express’s new logistics platform in the municipality of Casier, in the province of Treviso. Strategically located near major transport routes and Treviso airport, the complex covers a total area of 28,653 square metres, including 7,110 under roof. The project was designed to ensure maximum operational efficiency while minimising environmental impact.
The building features 142 loading bays for articulated lorries, trucks and vans, and includes a 711 kW photovoltaic system with storage batteries capable of meeting the entire energy demand. An automated Building Management System provides integrated control of all installations, while rainwater recovery systems are used for technical purposes and the irrigation of green areas.
Built according to FM Global safety standards, the facility has obtained Breeam In-Use certification with a Very Good rating, confirming the adoption of construction and management criteria consistent with emission reduction and energy efficiency goals. The entire project reflects a sustainable development vision aligned with the Carbon Zero target. The new hub’s completion is the result of cooperation between Dhl Express Italy, the construction company and the Logiman team, alongside designers and suppliers.
