Transpotec Logitec 2026 strengthens its logistics-focused area

The organisation of Transpotec Logitec 2026, the Fiera Milano event scheduled from 13 to 16 May, has entered its operational phase with a strengthening of the offer dedicated to logistics. The organisers have announced that alongside the event’s traditional focus on vehicles, bodywork and road haulage solutions, the 2026 edition will introduce an area specifically dedicated to logistics and its supply chain, featuring dedicated exhibition spaces, vertical content and in-depth initiatives.

This decision is set against a backdrop of structural growth in the sector. According to the Osservatorio Contract Logistics “Gino Marchet”, in 2025 the Italian third-party logistics market reached around €110 billion, confirming steady growth compared with previous years. This performance coincides with a period of profound transformation, in which technological innovation, the environmental transition, automation, intermodality and new requirements linked to last-mile management are reshaping operational processes, organisational models and investment decisions.

It is within this context that the Logitec area is taking shape, located in a clearly identifiable position at the entrance to halls 22 and 24. The space has been designed to highlight solutions for the supply chain, urban logistics and organised distribution, as well as rail, maritime and air intermodal systems. More than 80 companies from the sector have already joined the project, with new exhibitors accounting for 50% of participants, confirming interest in a platform intended to provide an integrated representation of a segment considered strategic for the national economy.

Within Logitec, space will also be given to the Logistic Village created by Fiap, conceived as a hub for high-level networking between transport and logistics companies, industry and shippers, institutions and experts. The 2026 edition will be particularly geared towards companies that purchase transport and logistics services, with an expanded programme of training sessions, thematic workshops and opportunities for direct discussion. The aim is to facilitate dialogue between supply and demand and to analyse the political, economic, regulatory and technological factors influencing supply chain relationships in the short and medium term.

Further representation will be ensured by the presence of the Federazione Autotrasportatori Italiani (Italian Road Hauliers’ Federation), which will host a multifunctional space dedicated to showcasing the Italian transport system. The various components of the federation will be present, alongside the Istituto Mario Remondini per la formazione professionale (Mario Remondini Institute for Professional Training), specialist sections and territorial structures. The area will also include an arena for meetings and in-depth discussions, as well as a networking space with a programme of seminars and round tables on key sector issues.

Attention to the evolution of urban distribution will also be reflected in the Last Mile – Microvan & cargo bike area, an exhibition and demonstration space dedicated to last-mile logistics. The focus will be on urban logistics, with solutions designed to improve operational efficiency in city areas and reduce the environmental impact of deliveries.

The strengthened exhibition offering will be accompanied by a structured programme of conferences and events. Organised in collaboration with trade associations and specialist publishers, the sessions will take place in a dedicated conference room within the Logitec area and will involve representatives from institutions, the academic and scientific community and industry. The programme will open with a conference on food logistics.

Over the four days, discussions will also cover multimodality along the supply chain, digital transformation between artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, pharma logistics, and the role of border crossings and air cargo. There will also be space for last-mile dynamics and urban logistics, with a comparison between vehicle manufacturers, logistics operators, energy suppliers and digital players, as well as a day dedicated to the contribution of women in the logistics sector.
