CargoAi, a CargoTech group company specialising in artificial intelligence solutions for air freight, has launched CargoMart Strategic Hub, a platform that enables freight forwarders and airlines to use commercial and operational data to inform purchasing decisions and shipment management. One feature allows freight forwarders' head offices to designate preferred carriers, with those preferences displayed when staff at local branches search for cargo capacity on CargoMart. The system comprises more than 12 strategic modules, bringing together continuously updated commercial and operational data, a global view of carriers, historical market rates and rate forecasts, and AI-generated recommendations in a single environment.
The Carrier Prioritization module allows procurement managers to designate preferred airlines and set commercial priorities at head office level. These instructions appear directly in local search results on CargoMart, bringing centrally defined preferences into branches' daily booking activities. For freight forwarders, this feature links negotiated agreements to actual booking activity. Market Rate Benchmark combines aggregated historical rates with price forecasts. Users can review trends over the past six months and explore forecasts for one, three or six months ahead, broken down by route, airport, region and shipment weight band. Procurement Benchmarking compares negotiated rates and rates actually booked with market prices.
On the capacity side, Shared Allocation Intelligence gives airlines and freight forwarders a shared view of allocated capacity, its utilisation and remaining availability. Allocation Performance, meanwhile, compares booked weight with weight actually flown and measures utilisation, with alerts based on priorities. Other modules include Executive Summary Dashboard, which brings together performance indicators, savings, spending and AI-generated recommendations, and Operational Performance, which tracks shipment milestones, service quality and carrier performance by route and station. Staff Training Hub centralises operational training and tracks completion, while Weekly Executive Briefings provides weekly role-specific insights into rates, allocations, operations and carriers.
For freight forwarders, Strategic Hub provides centralised visibility across procurement, allocations, carriers and operations at global, regional and local branch level. Executive dashboards and allocation analysis reduce manual reporting and speed up preparation for meetings with carriers by up to 80%. Airlines can extract actionable commercial insights from searches, rates, bookings and customer engagement data, covering demand, pricing opportunities, capacity allocation and network performance, to support key account management and commercial planning. Shared allocation analysis also allows carriers and freight forwarders to monitor capacity commitments and align their commercial strategies.
AI agents operate within CargoAi's ecosystem, which aims to progressively automate quotations, bookings and shipment management. The system draws on data already available on CargoMart, from capacity searches and bookings to operational performance, linking strategic decisions to operational workflows. Strategic Hub is already available to freight forwarders and airlines, which can request a live demonstration from the CargoAi team. Existing CargoMart environments require no additional integrations or data migration.
