At 9.30 am on Monday 2 June 2025, German Federal Transport Minister Patrick Schnieder and Stefan Rummel, CEO of Messe München, inaugurated the 2025 edition of Transport Logistic, the Munich-based trade fair that has firmly established itself as the leading event for freight transport and logistics in Europe and among the most prominent globally. The exhibition will run until Thursday 5 June, featuring a packed programme of conferences and workshops.
This year, the Bavarian fair hosts 2,670 exhibiting companies from more than 70 countries, marking a 15% increase compared to the previous edition. For the first time, the event spans twelve halls, covering a total area of 150,000 square metres. As has been the case for several editions now, the proportion of international exhibitors remains high, reaching 65%, a clear indicator of the event’s global appeal. A notable presence of Italian companies is also recorded. Within the framework of Transport Logistic, the specialised air freight section Air Cargo Europe takes place, occupying two entire halls.
The opening ceremony, held in the Forum of Hall A3, marked the beginning of four intensive days of meetings, debates and high-level discussions addressing the major challenges facing contemporary logistics. Central themes include the resilience of supply chains, the digitalisation of processes and the decarbonisation of transport. The official programme features over 50 dedicated events and the participation of more than 250 speakers, including political decision-makers, business leaders and industry experts. Topics range from emerging trade routes to data management, from energy transition to the development of new skills in the logistics sector.
TrasportoEuropa is following the Bavarian event with dedicated coverage throughout the four days of the exhibition and beyond, presenting the innovations and trends emerging from the fair.
