Giovi Logistics Park is reinforcing its position within Italy’s logistics landscape with the arrival of Logista Pharma. Located in Silvano Pietra, in the province of Pavia, along the Milan-Genoa axis, the logistics hub is nearing full occupancy, having reached 87 percent of its leasing capacity. Developed by Garbe Industrial Real Estate Italy in collaboration with Sfo Capital Partners and managed by Prelios Sgr through the Giove Fund, Giovi Logistics Park today stands as a tangible example of how logistics real estate can evolve to meet the needs of highly specialised sectors such as pharmaceuticals.
Logista, a group active in seven European countries, has committed to the park through two agreements covering a total of 20,000 square metres. Its subsidiary, Logista Pharma, which focuses on the distribution of pharmaceutical products to pharmacies and hospitals, is thereby strengthening its presence in Italy by investing in a modern, well-connected hub designed to handle complex operations. The facility will be equipped with temperature control systems, and operations are scheduled to begin by the end of May 2025.
Giovi Logistics Park is a grade A logistics complex covering a total surface area of 83,000 square metres, divided into eight independent modules of approximately 10,000 square metres each. The spaces, designed with a modular approach, include logistics areas, offices, services, charging rooms for forklifts, more than 300 parking spaces for cars, and 24 for articulated lorries. A distinguishing feature of the park is its Leed Platinum certification.
Logista joins other tenants such as Rhenus, Staci Italia and ID Logistics. “We are pleased to continue executing our strategy and moving closer to full occupancy of the available spaces, thanks to a mix of high-profile operators and a structure designed to adapt to the sector’s diverse requirements,” said Mariangela Conte, head of property management for Garbe in Italy.
