On 27 May 2025, Yale Lift Truck Technologies unveiled its new N Series of electric lift trucks. The Erp2.2-3.5N models can handle loads of up to 3.5 tonnes and offer operational flexibility. They are suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments, making them ideal for a wide variety of industrial settings, from automotive and distribution to furniture, food and pharmaceuticals. The ability to configure the truck according to specific operational requirements allows businesses to equip themselves with a tailored solution, improving overall productivity.
The cab comes with an intuitive touchscreen as standard and can be customised with dual joystick hydraulic controls and a choice of ergonomic seat models. For enhanced visibility, the mast has been designed with dual profiles to provide a wide field of view. In terms of safety, the optional Dynamic Stability System (DSS) helps prevent hazardous situations by intervening automatically, for example by limiting the truck’s speed when the mast is raised beyond a certain height. This can be complemented by the Yale Reliant system, a digital driver assistant that helps manage risks, reduce damage and encourage responsible operator behaviour.
Customers can choose between AC induction motors or, for more demanding applications, a package with permanent magnet motors. The latter offers superior performance and greater energy efficiency, reducing total cost of ownership over time. Maintenance is also improved by a simplified design, with fewer transmission components, lower technical complexity and longer intervals between service requirements.
The range of available batteries – including lithium-ion, lead-acid and TPPL – allows businesses to select the power solution that best fits their operational and financial needs. In particular, the lithium-ion option with Battery Box Replacement (BBR) technology enables more efficient battery lifecycle management and potential reuse, helping to contain long-term costs.
