MSC Air Cargo commenced its first commercial flight on the Malpensa-Hong Kong-Malpensa route on July 18, 2024. This service will operate twice weekly. It also marks the debut of the Italian-registered Boeing B777F, designated I-MSCA, formally operated by AlisCargo Airlines, a company recently acquired by Shipping Agencies Services, fully owned by MSC. With this aircraft, MSC Air Cargo completes a fleet of five Boeing 777-200 Freighters. In addition to fleet expansion, the airline continues to innovate with the recent launch of Shipped Pharma, its first product specialized in the transport of pharmaceuticals, expected to receive Ceiv certification by summer 2024. "The completion of the AlisCargo acquisition and the arrival of this aircraft are significant milestones for MSC's air transport strategy," commented Jannie Davel, Senior Vice President of MSC Air Cargo.
