The green transition in heavy-duty transport is gathering pace, and transport logistic 2025 provides one of the clearest stages on which it is being played out. At the world’s leading trade fair for logistics, mobility and supply chain management, Mercedes-Benz Trucks will present its vision for a zero-emission future. From 2 to 5 June 2025, in Hall 6 of the Munich exhibition centre, the company will unveil its new long-haul electric truck, the eActros 600, alongside the TruckCharge offering, a suite of services designed to support businesses and logistics operators as they move towards more sustainable models.
Mercedes-Benz Trucks’ presence at the fair goes beyond a mere showcase of technology. It brings with it a tangible industrial project already in operation. The company has begun electrifying its inbound logistics within its production facilities, drawing on real-world experience it now aims to share with customers and suppliers. As operations chief Jürgen Distl explains, the use of the eActros within supply chains has already demonstrated the economic viability of routes powered solely by electric vehicles. The goal is to guide clients along the path to low-emission logistics not only by supplying high-performance vehicles, but also through technical consultancy, route analysis and support in implementing charging infrastructure.
Further underlining the alignment between strategic vision and practical application, Mercedes-Benz Trucks has launched a full electrification programme for inbound material flows at its production sites in Gaggenau, Kassel, Mannheim and Wörth. The aim is to ensure that all logistics under the group’s direct responsibility operate with zero local emissions. This approach has already earned significant recognition. The “Electrify Inbound Logistics” project was awarded first prize at the VDA Logistics Award 2025, the accolade granted by the German Association of the Automotive Industry for outstanding innovations in logistics.
