Running alongside transport logistic 2025, which will take place at Messe München from 2 to 5 June 2025, will be air cargo Europe, the leading event for the air freight industry. Within this framework, Lufthansa Cargo will have its own exhibition area in Hall A1 (stand 101/202), accompanied by its affiliates CB Customs Broker and heyworld, as well as its partner Swiss WorldCargo.
The Group’s participation will focus on two main pillars: the scope and strength of its logistics network, and its tailored solutions for high-tech industrial sectors. Lufthansa Cargo operates one of the most extensive networks in Europe, with four hubs, seven airlines involved and over one thousand daily connections to more than 350 destinations worldwide. This is complemented by a road feeder network covering more than 120 stations across Europe, providing a flexible and reliable logistics offering on the ground as well.
In terms of sector-specific services, the Group will present bespoke solutions for high-value industries such as automotive, aerospace, semiconductors and healthcare. Each day of the fair will feature a dedicated expert for one of these segments: semiconductors on 2 June, aviation on 3 June, pharmaceuticals on 4 June and automotive on 5 June. The event’s parallel programme will also involve various experts from within the Group.
Among the key highlights is a panel on artificial intelligence in air freight (3 June, 10:00 am), led by Oliver von Götz, who will explain how this technology can enhance logistics efficiency and demand forecasting. On the following day, Martin Stilz will join Fraunhofer Institute to discuss the adoption of Iata’s new One Record standard, which from 2026 will serve as the digital foundation for information sharing across the air freight supply chain. Finally, on the closing day of 5 June, HR experts Magdalena Hura and Jennifer Bruene will be available at the Lufthansa Cargo stand to present career opportunities within the Group, underlining the company’s commitment to attracting new talent to the industry.
