Jost Werke has completed the acquisition of Hyva, a Dutch company specialising in hydraulic lifting systems for industrial vehicles. This transaction marks a significant strategic milestone for Jost, strengthening its global presence and expanding its product portfolio. The acquisition of Hyva is part of Jost’s continuous growth strategy, which over the past two decades has seen the integration of key companies in the sector, including Rockinger in 2001, Tridec in 2008, Mercedes-Benz Trailer Axle Systems in 2014, Alö in 2020, and Crenlo do Brasil and LH Lift in 2023. With Hyva, Jost not only broadens its range of products but also reinforces its presence in key markets such as Asia and the Americas while entering new highly specialised segments.
Founded in the Netherlands in 1979, Hyva is globally recognised for its technological expertise in the hydraulic sector, offering a wide range of products, including front-end tipping cylinders, container lifting systems, waste handling solutions, and truck-mounted cranes. The Dutch company serves a diverse array of industries, including transport and logistics, construction, mining, agriculture, and environmental management. With over three thousand employees and fourteen production facilities located in Brazil, China, Germany, India, Italy, and Mexico, Hyva holds approximately 40% of the market share in hydraulic tipping cylinders.
