At the 360PAY stand at transport logistic in Munich, Golia360 and the Trans.eu Group presented their joint project, Golia Exchange, a digital platform where shippers, freight forwarders and hauliers can collaborate in the search and offer of road haulage services. In practical terms, through Golia Exchange, Golia360 clients will be able to publish and respond to freight offers in a secure, structured and interconnected environment. Thanks to direct integration with the Trans.eu platform, users will also have the opportunity to expand their network by gaining access to a community of over 125,000 users across Europe. Access will be further streamlined through integration with Golia Fleet, the digital ecosystem developed by Golia360 for operational management and real-time vehicle tracking.
The platform will soon be fully operational, allowing operators to increase their visibility, promote their services and establish new partnerships. During peaks in demand, users will be able to find reliable partners to complete a shipment, while in periods of downtime, commercial vehicles can be deployed on new routes, making full use of available resources. The project is based on technology developed by Trans.eu, a multinational active in eleven countries and operator of the largest freight exchange in Central and Eastern Europe. The company offers advanced solutions for every stage of the transport process through platforms such as CargoON and FreightON, dedicated respectively to large shippers and transport operators.
“A new chapter in the digitalisation of the transport sector is beginning,” said Claudio Carrano, founder and CEO of Golia360. “With Trans.eu we are building a constantly connected community, founded on values such as efficiency, safety and trust. Golia Exchange represents a genuine growth opportunity for transport companies, enabling them to optimise routes, reduce empty mileage and capture new business opportunities.”
The strategic value of the collaboration was reinforced by Nicolò Calabrese, country manager for Italy at Trans.eu Group, who emphasised that “thanks to a digital environment that connects and automates processes, cooperation between operators can truly take a step forward in quality. Our aim is to support Italian companies in accessing an ever-growing number of transport offers, including at the international level.”
