On 25 September 2025, Ford Trucks unveiled the refreshed version of its flagship long-haul F-Max, scheduled to go on sale in October. The new generation introduces a redesigned cab, inside and out, and is powered by the Ecotorq Gen2 diesel engine, which the manufacturer says delivers fuel savings of up to 11.3%. The cab’s new styling features a body-integrated front grille and the Digital Mirror System – cameras replacing conventional rear-view mirrors – which improves aerodynamics and enhances safety thanks to the SentinelMode function. The headlights now come with a black frame as standard.
The driver’s area is equipped with a 12-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.4-inch multimedia display, both offering content personalisation. Convenience is boosted by wireless charging, an electronic parking brake and keyless start. For added protection during stops, the Max Security Lock is available. Another highlight is the new voice assistant, which can be activated with four different commands and is available in thirteen languages. The system allows drivers to control climate settings, music, radio and phone hands-free, and can also be operated via the 7-inch touchscreen located beside the bed, ensuring easier access to functions during rest breaks.
